We Honor Our Soldiers

As we take this time during the Memorial Day weekend, we honor those who gave their lives for this country.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          From every war that was started officially to heinous crime of 9/11. These men and women stood where we couldn’t. And they fought when we wouldn’t. Some went straight forward to the frontline. These are our heroes and we honor them.
Let us look at this action as an act of mercy. These soldiers stood in the gap for us and fought for us. What have we done to give back??
Let us honor them by supporting those that are still fighting. Support them in prayer, in letters of encouragement and yes reaching out and uplifting their families and loved ones who are waiting on them. Be a friend, be a confidant, be a mentor. Show your honor and support the cause of what we are fighting for- truth, justice and freedom.

God bless us all,

Dr. A.

Temporary Not Permanent

Have you ever had a bad headache or back pain? Have you ever taken a pain pill, such as Advil, Execedrin or Ibuprofen? If you look at the directions they all state ‘to give you temporary relief’.
This means the pain may leave, but it may come back. Your relief is not permanent.
God wants to remind this trying times your in is only temporary – God has the solution to not relieve the pain, but Remove the source of pain.
We have this confidence that we are more than conquers in all things.
The children of Israel wondered in the wilderness. Through miraculous events God provided for them. They were on there way to the promise land, yet experience temporary sufferings. God rained down manna and quail to feed them. He provided water from a rock to ease their thirst. Don’t give up. You will see your promised land very soon.
It is not permanent only temporary.
“And this small and temporary trouble we suffer will bring us a tremendous and eternal glory, much greater than the trouble.” 2 Cor. 4:17
